Goodbye Leognan!

Our Home Exchangers' son-in-law was kind enough to pick Rodger up before 9:00 am to take him to pick up our car rental at the Bordeaux airport.  Once we had the car, we loaded up, we left our 2nd exchange home and started driving towards Paris.  I hope the house is clean enough and we left it the way we found it!  It was a lovely home and we will have lots of great memories of this area.

We stopped at a really nice B&B that was in the middle of nowhere, in the country.  The GPS took us through an unpaved country road, through the corn fields to get there.  Ha!  Nicest B&B ever!  It used to be a working farm and they renovated it a few years ago to turn it into a B&B.  I think they have at least 4 rooms, with a common kitchen in the building we were in... our suite was upstairs.  They didn't have any other guests that night so we had the place to ourselves.  We had a look through their guest book and wouldn't you know it... guests from Victoria were there last week!!  Crazy... she said besides them, we are the first guests from Canada to stay here.

I know I am going to sleep very well tonight.  So peaceful and quiet here.  Just lovely.
